DAY 1 ~ 30 Day Disney Animated Feature Challenge

1. YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER.

Considering that through the next questions many remarkable and important characters will be named, and that this particular question is one of the most difficult of all, we can say my choice is kind of unconventional.
I wanted to highlight a character who's not the protagonist of his own movie, his 'stage time' is not much, but whose presence is essential in the main characters' life; and a person that shines thanks to her elegance, generosity, charme, kindness and respect.

I'll go straight to the point, I'm speaking of Madame Adelaide, from The Aristocats.

She's fascinating, a truly beautiful woman, with that pinch of positive vanity that every single person has, she is well-to-do but doesn't have features like possessiveness and selfishness, often attributed to rich and wealthy people.
She's an example of outstanding goodness and altruism, she's friendly, sweet, gentle, determined in her choices and always smiling.
Also, intelligent and sensitive.
And her love for music, her love for cats, they're her family.


The love and the affection she shows towards them, her caring, her friendship, the pain of losing them, the joy of living them, I find a lot of myself in her.
She's simply pure and limpid.
She's not a heroine.
She doesn't save the world.
But she's so real, so close, so felt.
And she's my choice.

INTRODUCTION ~ 30 Day Disney Animated Feature Challenge

This is a challenge presented by Sensational Disney, so I don't own anything except for my opinion.

I read this list of tasks and I found it truly interesting, meaning I thougt it would be entertaining to share my favourite features of different Disney movies with someone else.

This is a challenge whose objective is to answer a question everyday, but as I already started doing it I'll simply dedicate a post for every one of them.

I really hope it would be nice and memorable, and if you want to share your opinion as well I'll be more than happy*^*

Chocola Meilleure

Who's Chocola Meilleure?

Well, Chocola is the main character of a mahō shōjo manga written by Moyoco Anno, which name is Sugar Sugar Rune; it's also one of the mangas that I love most.
She's a little witch with a very strong personality, outspoken, pretty aggressive and extrovert.
Green eyes, pointy ears, long orange hair.
With her best friend Vanilla, whose character is instead shy and reserved, she'll have to face a test that will determine who between the two will become queen of their reign, Extramondo.
This test consists in living on Earth, stealing human guys hearts; their hearts represent the different feelings everyone can feel (of course xD); these hearts have specific colours, meanings and values.
In Extramondo, strong girls like Chocola are appreciated, but the same cannot be said about Earth, where Vanilla's sweetness allows her to pick up more hearts, compared to Chocola.
As the story goes on, we see the physical and psychological growth of the characters, in particular Chocola's growth; infact she shows different times a weak and sensitive side of her, beyond her usual resolute attitude.
I won't explain the whole story, but I suggest seeing the anime and reading the manga with all my heart; some aspects of the story are different, but both are worth the research.
Concerning the manga, in particular, which I recently reread, I guarantee that it is a really fascinating story, able to make you smile and very moving; the characters and the story itself remain impressed, and they give an indescribable intensity.

Chocola is a character that affected me a lot.

Personally, I'm really shy, especially with people I don't know, and Chocola's determined nature is like an inspiration for me. Her saying what she's thinking, her living every moment of her life with dedication and curiosity, these are features that I would like to have myself.
Above all, her gaze, the glint in her eyes during happy times, the melancholy they reveal during hard times, this makes me have goosebumps every single time.
There could be so much to say, but actually I  don't know how to describe the importance Chocola assumes for me.

Hi everyone! *bow*
My name's Chocola, but you can call me Choco!


So, this is the first post of my new blog.
That's strange, I never had my own blog, and until five minutes ago I  didn't even think about creating one, actually!
It won't be one of those websites updating everyday, there won't be a particular theme concerning this blog, It will be just.. Just a sort of room, my room, where I'll simply write what goes through my head!

(Actually I'm Italian, so sorry for my English! This is called Choco's Room 2 because the original blog is in Italian and I wanted to make another one, but I'll write the same exact things ♥)
